on the mastication of aged gum
I'm at my moms and she's making me go thru boxes and trash some stuff. I found some gum I had when I was a kid. This is gum packaged as a bandage. judging from the rest of the items in the box I'd say this gum is from about 1994. Now I'm faced with a decision. Since tomatoes are so poisonous nowadays should I eat this gum? I don't like to throw away perfectly good gum, but I haven't opened the tin to see if it's still good. I'll have to make a decision tomorrow.
