On recent prizes
I just won a 80GB PS3 from Goozex.

Sweet. Not even sure what I'm gonna do with a PS3. I don't care about high def (not that I'd blow money on Blu-Ray over DVDs even if I did). Haze, GoW III, LBP, MGS4 that's about all the exclusive I'm interested in. Oh well with a PS3 now I have to rethink my Guitar Hero Wii plans.

Kinda sucks I'm not going to see it until I get home again.

Lucky bugger. I wanted one of those. I guess my Goozex-fu has been weak the last couple of weeks. I'm so far back in the queue for Fallout and Fable that I may never ever get them.

that's an interesting point. If I end up getting PS3 games I'll suddenly be on the popular side of the Goozex totem pole. When you're getting gamecube games and off-kilter Wii games you generally don't have to wait too long.

Yeah, for new or popular games, if you don't get in really early (as in, midnight of the day of release) the queue is brutal. With both Fallout and Fable, I got in the queue in the morning of release day, but that meant that there was already ~200 people ahead of me waiting, far less than the current supply of the game on the site. Even slightly older games which are popular (like Civilization Revolutions) can take a long long while.

It's a great site, don't get me wrong, but you either have to be really on the ball with getting in the queue or you have to go for (as you said) older or off-kilter games.
